Where to start......

I am inspired by my friend, Pam Mursch Steiner, to follow my passion just as she is off on a new adventure. Pam has created a blog about her adventures in unemployment and trying to be still and listen for God's guideance. I'll post a link to her blog later.

I am passionate about living a healthy lifestyle through good nutrition, exercise (I really am trying to stick to it), prayer and meditation. I am well and have been well for ten years now. Although I don't always do the right thing I try to follow the advice of my good friend, Dr. Jan Young, ND, by sticking to a good diet 80% of the time so that I am allowed to cheat 20% of the time.

My goal is to help as many people as possible get well or stay well. I believe the best thing any of us can do is stay out of the health care system. The best way to do that is to consume lots of fresh, raw, vine ripe fruits and vegetables. The problem is, it is not a very easy thing to do. I unabashedly recommend Juice Plus capsules or soft chewable gummies to bridge the gap between what you should do and what you actually do. If you are interested in more information click on the link "My Juice Plus Page."

I have many friends who are healthcare professionals as well as nutrition specialists. I shall invite them to write articles here for your enjoyment and information. I even have a friend who teaches a Bible study entitled, "Fit To Serve." I'll post links or articles as they become available.

In Daniel 1:15-16 The Bible says, "Well, at the end of the ten days, Daniel and his three friends looked healthier and better nourished than the youths who had been eating the food supplied by the king! So, after that the steward fed them only vegetables and water, without the rich foods and wines!" (TLB)

I really hate that wine part....

I'll look forward to hearing what you have to say.
